Where to go RVing?
Journey across Canada in your RV

Travel to the seashore or the mountains
Try RVing your way across Canada. It’s a big country and there is so much to see, but a trip in an RV can be a journey of new discoveries each time. Each vacation you can plan to visit a new part of the country in your RV. Even just getting there will be an adventure in itself. Pick a new province to explore and start planning your next get-away.

Learn the history and
culture of other provinces

When you plan your trip you can make the whole journey a learning experience. Take a break from the driving by stopping at museums and historical sites along the way. If you consult the provincial tourist offices and their websites, you might be able to time your trip so that you can see an historical re-enactment, which makes learning history a new and memorable experience for the whole family.

Take in different cultural experiences along the way
Canada is a mosaic of different cultures. Take the opportunity to view arts and crafts from different regions, traditions and ethnic groups. Check with the local tourist information office, or provincial website, for dates of festivals and celebrations of dance and music taking place during the summer months. And when you visit fairs or restaurants keep an eye open for local foods and special dishes that might be unique to that part of the country.

Visit other cities and see the sights
Have fun and visit Canada’s famous tourist sites and attend those big events in other cities. How about a trip to the Calgary Stampede or Quebec City’s Winter Carnival? Maybe attend the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto or Montreal’s famous summer jazz festival. Have you experienced the old-fashioned quaintness and wonderful gardens of Victoria, B.C., seen the Dinosaurs at Drumheller in Alberta, or visited the historic Bluenose at its mooring in Nova Scotia? Well, start a list so that you can work some of them in to your next RV vacation.

Some Canadians like to go off-road with their RV
For that perfect hunting or fishing trip up north anyone with a pickup truck should consider getting a truck camper. This type of RV becomes your own mobile hunting lodge to move from one area to the next in search of the perfect habitat for your quarry, or the best fishing spots. You can be far from civilization and have all the comforts of home in this rugged recreational vehicle.
