Greater Vancouver's Largest Fall Recreation Vehicle Show Opens Today
|
(Abbotsford, British Columbia) - September 23rd, 2010 - Today, the 2010 Snowbird RV Show and Sale in Abbotsford, British Columbia opened its doors to thousands of RV enthusiasts. This year marks the RV centennial, and for this occasion guests will be treated to one of Abbotsford's biggest RV shows and sales ever, with an impressive combination of guest speakers and innovative new RV designs. RV shows are great opportunities for potential RV buyers to see what their local dealers are offering all under one roof and take advantage of the numerous sales. "Canadians of all ages and lifestyles are realizing the benefits associated with this lifestyle, such as flexibility and vacation cost savings," said Go RVing Canada spokesperson Angèle Lapointe. "This is why these annual events have remained successful and attract thousands of people every year!" The cost-savings associated with the lifestyle are at the heart of RVing's popularity, even in times of relative economic insecurity. Go RVing Canada recently released the results of a study, conducted by PKF Consulting, which found that typical RV vacations can be up to 75 per cent less expensive per day than any other type of family trip, regardless of trip duration, distance, or location. The Snowbird RV Show and Sale which brings together more than 50 exhibitors on 180,000 square feet of display space, opens today and runs until Sunday, September 26th at the Tradex complex in Abbotsford. The event caters to everyone from the RV specialist to the onlooker who wants to learn more on recreational vehicles and the many benefits that are associated to the lifestyle. For additional show information, visit: www.RVShowsBC.ca and for information about the RV lifestyle, a listing of more RV shows in Canada, and other RV-related information, visit: www.GoRVing.ca. The Go RVing coalition was formed in 1997, and consists of RV manufacturers, RV dealers and campground operators. The coalition serves as the Canadian RV camping industry ambassador to provide the public and media with information about the benefits of RV travel. The coalition also seeks to enhance consumer information and satisfaction with the RV experience. -30- For more information and to set up an interview, please contact: Angèle Lapointe
