(Ottawa, Ontario) March 16, 2011 –Today, Go RVing Canada congratulated nine Canadian parks which were voted among the top 100 spots to Go RVing in North America by the Good Sam Club. With the expectations of Good Sam Club members in mind, top locations were chosen based on cleanliness, safety and overall comfort. "We are thrilled to see that Canadian RV resorts and campgrounds are being recognized among the best of the best in North America," said Go RVing Canada Spokesperson Angèle Lapointe. "It is a true testament to the benefits and appeal of the RV lifestyle that exists in Canada, which remains a popular vacation choice for those who are looking for an affordable vacation that offers freedom, flexibility, and fun." Go RVing Canada recently announced an increase in annual RV sales across the country of 18.4 per cent for 2010. Impressively, an industry that faced one of the worst economic downturns in recent history, the RV lifestyle is becoming more and more appealing to consumers. A growing number of Canadian families are discovering the fun and flexibility that the RV lifestyle provides and are taking advantage of the continued affordability RVing exhibits. The nine parks chosen from Canada are: Holiday Park Resort (Kelowna, BC), Bras d'Or Lakes Campground (Baddeck, NS), Baddeck Cabot Trail Campground (Baddeck, NS), Elm River RV Park Ltd. (Glenholme, NS), Quinte's Isle Campark (Cherry Valley, ON), Camping la Clé des Champs RV Resort (St-Philippe, QC), Vacationland RV Park (Brackley Beach, PE), Camping Alouette (St Mathieu Beloeil, QC), and Du Village Bromont RV Resort (Bromont, QC). "We would like to congratulate all of the Canadian parks who truly highlight the quality of RVing to be enjoyed throughout Canada!" continued Lapointe.
