Go RVing Canada Partners with Festival Western de St-Tite 2009

OTTAWA, ON, September 16, 2009 — As we all prepare to enter the wonderful fall season, Go RVing Canada wants to highlight for Canadians the incredible adventures possible in an RV!  Go RVing Canada is pleased to announce their partnership during the Festival Western de St-Tite 2009.

The Festival Western de St-Tite is one of the biggest and most celebrated western events in all of Canada, attracting more than 600,000 people to the small town of St. Tite, Québec.  The Western Festival, which runs until September 20th, features exciting western events ranging from rodeo, music, dancing and other themed activities.

“An RV trip can bring you to an enormous amount of adventurous activities and events, such as the Western Festival,” said Alana Fontaine, Go RVing Canada spokesperson.  “Not only that, RVing can turn any weekend into a low-budget getaway for the family, while eliminating the costly expenses of airfare, hotels and pricey restaurant bills.”

An independent study recently released by Go RVing Canada found typical family RV vacations to be on average 35 percent to 75 percent less expensive per day than the other types of vacations analyzed.  The study conducted by PKF Consulting summarized that “vacations using RVs are an advantageous choice for those travelers seeking to maximize the utility of their vacation budgets.” 

“The affordability of an RV holiday, combined with the freedom and flexibility that comes along with it, means that families can embark on a truly, adventurous journey together,” emphasized Fontaine.

The Go RVing Canada coalition was formed in 1997, and consists of RV manufacturers, RV dealers and campground operators.  The coalition serves as the Canadian RV camping industry ambassador to provide the public and media with information about the benefits of RV travel.  The coalition also seeks to enhance consumer information and satisfaction with the RV experience.  For more information please visit www.GoRVing.ca.
