Where to go RVing?
Take the plane – then rent an RV
Canada is a vast land
Another option for a different vacation is to fly across the country to explore a province you have never visited before. Contact a company with RVs for rent and book one that you can pickup on your arrival. You can unload your things into your RV, make yourself at home, and you are all ready for your trip. With your own itinerary and travel destinations in mind you can set off to the first campground on your route.
Visit relatives in other provinces
Flying and renting an RV is also a good idea if you want to spend time visiting relatives who live in other provinces. That way you can visit different family members, spending some time with each, and move on to the next at the appropriate time. At the same time you can combine these visits with some tourist destinations as part of a real vacation for you and your own family.
Camp at RV campgrounds – large or small
Staying at campgrounds is a good way to keep the costs of a family holiday to a minimum by avoiding expensive hotel accommodation. Flying and renting an RV also gives you a chance to experience nature and take a camping holiday in comfort in another part of Canada, far from home. And if you have children, then travel on the road with an RV will be so much more convenient when you can keep them happy with meals and snacks along the way.
If the drive is just a bit too far, or time is limited
Sometimes it just makes sense to fly and rent an RV. Maybe you need to attend a sports event, a festival or maybe even a wedding that spreads over several days. Fly to your destination with your family or group and rent an RV at the other end. This allows you to be onsite during the whole event and gives you the added bonus of having sleeping and bathroom accommodations close at hand, combined with a place to cook meals or snacks for everyone when they get tired and hungry.
Take your time to explore a new part of Canada
Fly to another province that you have never explored before, and rent an RV. When you find somewhere really nice you can stay as long as you like – because in an RV you follow your own itinerary and your own timetable. Continue again when you are ready to move on. Enjoy the scenery, have fun, make new friends along the way and experience the freedom, flexibility and camaraderie of RVers. Maybe your new friends will join you on the road to the next campground on your route.
