Take weekend trips – at any time of year
 RVs are not just for summer vacations
An RV can change your weekend into a mini-holiday. If you have an RV at home that is all packed and ready to go, when Friday evening comes around you can take off at a moments notice and get a complete break from the weekly grind of everyday life. Plan a trip to “cottage country”, a local festival, a sporting event or maybe go and explore another city for a couple of days.
Book tickets for an
out-of-town show or concert
You can go further a-field to see a show or attend an event. Drive to another city or town with your RV and spend the night there without having to pay for costly hotel accommodation. Spend the day enjoying yourself then get a good night’s sleep in your RV. Maybe fit in a bit of sightseeing or shopping the next day before you make the drive home. You’re ready to return to work on Monday morning after a most enjoyable and exhilarating weekend.
You have a cottage on wheels
With an RV at your disposal, you are not required to trek to the same spot every weekend. You can use your RV just as you would a cottage, sitting besides a beautiful lake with clear shining waters. But why not choose a different lake each weekend? You will have all the conveniences of a cottage but you can try out different campgrounds each time, visit different provincial parks, and explore new corners of your own, or a neighbouring province.
Get away with the family
Pack up the family and spend a great weekend at your favorite campground. Everyone can relax, the children can race around with their new-found friends, moving from one activity to the next, as the mood takes them. Parents can put their feet up or go for a swim or a round of mini-golf. Children feel safe and at home and can wander from one play area to another until they run out of steam and come back to the RV tired and hungry. Meanwhile, mother and father have time to relax together and recharge their batteries.
Any time of year, can be the perfect time
RVs are not just for summer holidays. If yours is winterized then it can be used for family trips any time of year. How about a mobile ski chalet? Go downhill skiing, snow shoeing or cross-country with the family and spend the whole weekend at the mountain. With special insulation and a good heater you will be as warm as toast when everyone comes back for a hot meal and some après ski. Or tow the snowmobile behind and spend the weekend traveling the trails on a real Canadian winter safari.
